Employee Spotlight – Judy Nichols

Once a week, we’ll be putting the spotlight on one of our employees!  Judy Nichols has worked for us the longest  (since 2005!) so she is first to be in the spotlight!

Judy was born in Pueblo, Colorado and moved to Tennessee in 1967.  She and her husband, Nick, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last September.  Judy’s son, Chris Scott and his family (including Judy’s two grandsons) have lived in Brisbane, Australia for the past ten years.

Judy started working at The Quilting Squares  when we were in our first location on Confederate Drive.  Judy loves to quilt and to do hand applique with wool.  The first wool applique quilt she completed won first place at the Williamson County Fair several years ago.  If you have questions about wool applique,  Judy would be happy to help you.

At the shop, we refer to Judy as our “meeter and greeter”!  She loves to get to know all our customers and enjoys meeting everyone who comes in.    Judy tells us she loves her job and that we always keep her busy.

Let me get that phone!!!
