Day 2 of our trip. We decided to start the day visiting the #USS Constitution and #Bunker Hill. There is so much history in this town, if I could only remember American History from high school, oh that was only 44 years ago! There were over 500 people stationed on this ship, amazing they all didn’t die from overcrowding. The tour was very interesting. After a hard morning on a ship, time decide about lunch. Found a great place right on the harbor, #Pier6. We had the best crab cakes. Yummy. After lunch, we headed across the river to old Boston. Wow, a very busy place. We first saw Paul Revere’s house. It was built 1660. Paul lived there 1770-1800.

From there we visited several more historical sites. Middle of the afternoon, had to stop and get some cannolies. There were 2 pastry shops we came across. So, had to buy some from both. Mike’s Pastry and Modern Pastry.

We ended the day with a great meal at #UnionOysterHouse. Another great meal was had by all. We were all tired so we headed back to the motel. As if we hadn’t had enough to eat today, we had to try the Cannolies and another pastry called Lobster Tails. The Lobster Trails was great. A puff pastry with a creamy filling. Very good. The cannolies were so different, the texture was more course. They were ok.

Talk to you tomorrow and see what happens on Day 3!
